Michelle Elise Scelfo and Jordan Kyle LeBouef were united in Holy Matrimony at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. The Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Reverend Thomas Voorhies. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Anthony Scelfo of Lafayette, Louisiana. Mrs. Scelfo is the former Denise Michelle Domingue. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Harold Domingue Sr. and the late Mr. Harold Domingue Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Scelfo of Franklin, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Teurlings Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. She is currently employed at Aqueos Corporation in Broussard, Louisiana. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Bernard LeBouef of Eunice, Louisiana. Mrs. LeBouef is the former Andrea Michelle Fontenot. The groom is the grandson of Mr. Aubrey Fontenot of Nederland, Texas and Ms. Ginger Fontenot of Eunice, Louisiana, and Mrs. Carol LeBouef and the late Mr. James LeBouef of Eunice, Louisiana. He is the great-grandson of Ms. Elta LeBouef of Eunice, Louisiana. He is a graduate of St. Edmund's Catholic High School, and he attended Louisiana State University in Eunice, Louisiana. He is currently employed as an Offshore Instrument Technician for Wood Group PSN. Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory colored gown by Casablanca Couture. The lovely strapless ball gown featured a dramatic full skirt of soft tulle. The sweetheart neckline was richly embellished with silver embroidery, pearls, and Swarovski crystals. The same delicate beading was embroidered onto the sash, which accented the true waistline. The gown flowed into a full a-line skirt with silver embroidery and beading at the hemline and semi cathedral train. The bride complemented the dress with a two tier veil with a Swarovski crystal trim. For her bouquet, the bride chose open off white roses, white hydrangea, and white peonies accented with Swarovski crystals hand tied together with a silk satin ribbon band. She carried a rosary belonging to her maternal great-grandmother. Serving as Maid of Honor was Megan Denise Scelfo, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kylie Jo LeBouef Miller, sister of the groom, Elizabeth Marie Domingue, and Stefani Claire Domingue, cousins of the bride. They wore an amethyst taffeta strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and a pleated bodice. The gown had a full skirt with a matching sash at the waist. They carried gathered bouquets of iridescent purple hydrangea accented with purple, soft lavender and white tulips, lavender lilac, white freesia, and blue agapanthus with touches of lime green flower buds. Conan Kent Moody, friend of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Michael Miller, brother-in-law of the groom, Clay Hollis Doise and Kurk James Dugas, friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Whelman Joseph Landry, friend of the bride, and Brock Ryan LeBouef, cousin of the groom. The groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers wore a black two-button tuxedo jacket with matching pants. The jacket featured a satin notched lapel. They wore an ivory colored shirt with a solid satin black tie. The groom wore an ivory colored shirt with a textured ivory satin tie. They wore boutonnieres of ivory sweetheart roses, white freesia, with a touch of wispy greenery. Musicians for the ceremony included Kevin Martin, organist, Wilfred Green, trumpeter, and Karen Melancon, vocalist. Scripture readers were Macklyn Angele Domingue, godmother of the bride, and Kayla Renee Fontenot, cousin of the groom. Serving as Gift Bearers were Breann Gotreaux, cousin of the groom, and Sarah Elizabeth Martin, friend of the bride. Altar servers were Emily Rebecca Roy and Jacob Lawrence Roy, cousins of the bride. Eucharistic Minister was Sara Virginia Yongue, friend of the bride. Program Attendants were Sarah Kate Gotreaux and Emily Elizabeth Gotreaux, cousins of the groom. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Oakbourne Country Club. Connie G. and Creole Soul provided the entertainment. Centerpieces of large silver urns filled with garden flowers in shades of white, ivory, lavender, purple, and lavender blue accented the food tables. The guest tables were draped with ivory pin tuck linens decorated with tall fluted crystal vases filled with white hydrangea, lavender roses, lavender lisianthus, and soft lavender stock accented with variegated miniature English ivy. A beautiful five-tier ivory wedding cake was decorated with cornelli lace and pearls. A traditional silver coupe de mariage filled with fresh flowers was displayed on the top tier. The coupe de mariage was also featured on the bride's parents' wedding cake twenty-seven years ago. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner on April 11, 2013 at Don's Seafood and Steakhouse. Following honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas and Virgin Islands, the couple will make their home in Lafayette, Louisiana.

LAFAYETTE, LA - Lane Alexandra Rucks and William Gerald McKnight were united in Christian marriage at Asbury United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at a 6:30 p.m. ceremony officiated by the Reverend Richard Humphries. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ward Rucks, IV of Lafayette, Louisiana. Her mother is the former Catherine Ann May of Covington, Louisiana. Lane is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Wayne May of Covington, Louisiana, and Mr. and Mrs. William Ward Rucks, III of Lafayette, Louisiana. She is a 2006 graduate of Saint Thomas More High School in Lafayette, Louisiana, and a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Rucks Family Foundation. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Markham Robin McKnight of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His mother is the former Arwin Scott Wright of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. William is the grandson of Mr. William Heard Wright, Jr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the late Mrs. Mary Arwin "Pat" Wright and Mrs. Marquita Markham McKnight of Clinton, Louisiana and the late Mr. Isaac Gerald McKnight. He is a 2003 graduate of University High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a 2007 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a Bachelors Degree in General Studies. He is currently employed as a Commercial Broker at Wright and Percy Insurance a division of BancorpSouth Insurance Services. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture gown designed by Monique Lhuillier. The candlelight white strapless silk gown of re-embroidered appliqued lace and silk tulle overlay featured a sweetheart neckline with a fitted corset bodice accented with pearl buttons down the back. The modified trumpet skirt, featured a victorian style re-embroidered lace border detail with a scalloped edge and fell gracefully into a circular chapel train. She wore a cathedral length veil of soft white silk illusion designed by Toni Federici. For her bouquet, the bride chose lily of the valley, gardenias and stephanotis hand-tied and finished with a candlelight white French knotted silk satin ribbon. The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Elizabeth Ann Bertrand, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Caroline Alexis Goodson, Alexandra Whitney Hughes, Kristin Michelle Melancon, Lauren Michelle Osborne, Claudia Nicole Poché, Laura Camille Russell; all friends of the bride, and Shaylyn Elizabeth Scott, cousin of the bride. Her maid of honor and bridesmaids wore strapless glacier blue, silk crepe de chin gowns with a silk chiffon overlay designed by Monique Lhuillier. The ruched crossed bodice featured a gathered belted waistline finished in a full length softly gathered skirt. They carried hand tied bouquets of Duchesse de Nemours peonies finished with a candlelight white French knotted silk satin ribbon. Patrick Ellis McKnight, brother of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Reynolds McKean Bromley and John Coyt Hutchison, III; both friends of the groom, Daniel Lucian McKnight, and Markham Scott McKnight; both brothers of the groom, William Ward Rucks, V, brother of the bride and friend of the groom, and Robert Williams Scheffy, III, and Neal Cheek Walton; both friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Joseph Stevenson Black, John Tracey Laborde, Marc Evan Savoie and Kenneth Lee Swenson; all friends of the groom. Abigail Grace Scott, cousin of the bride served as flower girl and Isacc Luke McKnight, nephew of the groom served as ring bearer. Readers were Sydney Reed Turner and Amanda Lauren Williams, both friends of the bride and groom. Serving as program attendants were Austill Elizabeth May and Therese Catherine Scott, both cousins of the bride. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Home and Gardens. Upon returning from a honeymoon to the French West Indies Caribbean Island of St. Barts, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
